... I was in deep contemplation and I wondered if I've ever really, truly known someone... throughout my whole life. Or if I've just known details. The more I thought about it though, the more I came to the conclusion that yes, I do actually know people. Details are what make them who they are and even knowing that you don't know someone as well as you'd like to signifies knowing them at least well enough to know that there's more than meets the eye.
So I thought about all of the kids who I consider to be my closest friends and who they are and why we get along so well. So I will proceed to speak about this until I get something else to do. lol. (Alpha order...) If I forget and leave someone out, I'm sorry and claim momentary idiocy. Please correct me.

Chris is like the ultimate guy who somehow understands girls. He's that kid that you know is always gonna be there to listen to you... even at 3 am. He's the type of guy who would see you crying, in sweat pants and like a face full of runny makeup and tell you that you look great. But then he's also that type of person who you can have long talks with and he can tell you what's on his mind and you can help... he just makes me feel good cause we can always have open communication.
He's one of those guys who you know every girl loves to have around and every guy is like... how does he talk to my gf easier than me? lol
Cindy-
Cindy is the type of girl who does a little bit of everything and yet somehow balances it with nearly complete excellence. How someone can be a class officer, the leader of the footlighters group, a hardcore Psi-Betan, and in the Who's Who and still maintain a christian life... amazes me. Cindy herself often times amazes me. Her persona screams "I am woman! I rock!" Except, in a humble way. She has a ton going for her, but she's still all level-headed, I love it. Plus she has a great sense of humor... I mean, hello! Be the Tree! lol.
Cindy is that girl that you see in all of the musical productions and you know she rocks, but that she'll prolly get screwed out of some awesome Hollywood deal because of all the rich brats that can't really act but get like two million dollars worth of plastic surgery and like hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of classes and get discovered for their plastic beauty in a McDonalds. Ridiculous! Basically, I'm trying to say she has real talent and it sucks that she can't be in like... X-men 4. lol, okay so maybe a small part of me would love that because it would also mean that I'd be that much closer to my beloved comic scene, but still... Cindy Rocks!
(I secretly hope that someday Cindy and I will randomly runaway to NY together. Her for her talent, and me for the change of scenery. Scott would probably come too. Because he is implusive and because he'd be cool to have there. Chris will want to come but won't be able to because he has to work. Drew... will come as well so long as a tender crisp sandwich is involved. Dave will be busy with something, or feel like he's dead, but will want to know what its like for me to be somewhere that doesn't have humidity out the butt. lol. Lindsay will be dying to go, but will also be boggled down with work... and even though i'll repeatedly offer to pay for her way she will refuse because she doesn't take money from people. Jessica will probably want to come as well because she loves road trips, but might have other obligations. Marissa would love to hear about it, and might come, but might be busy as well with school and her many work obligations. I'd prolly try to force Micah into coming or just wait for him to call me every night and bring him home something neat. But not snow... it sucks that snow is non-transportable.)
Dave-
David is my idea of the ultimate undiscovered rocker. He's so into his own little world and everything else is... meh. But at the same time, it doesn't consume him. He gets alot of crap for his relationship "flaws" but it's kinda balanced by the fact that he's prolly one of the most devoted friends ever. He's one of those people who's like well, you ran over my dog and that really sucked, but you're kinda funny and I like picking on you so... we're cool. But I get to kick you in the face later. lol well maybe not that drawn out...
..I still secretly think that David will become a preacher halfway through life and start a revolution! lol
Drew-
Drew smelly face Doerr... Drew is like my brother... if I had a brother... sometimes we fight and sometimes we just exchange mild sarcasm... but in the end, I know he'd always be there... especially if there was a tender crisp sandwich involved.
I think sometimes people take him the wrong way because things in life distract him, but he's that type of guy who if you called him up crying, he'd do whatever he could... especially if it involved a tender crisp sandwich. (ok, honestly I'm just trying to tease you with the food... haha. ok I'm done.)
Plus, he's really good with music... and I like sitting near him in church because he can always sing the right note for me when I get lost. lol.. that's selfish, I mean I like sitting near him cause he's my friend too.
Jessica-
Jessica is also one of the most devoted friends ever. She sometimes gets crap because she's dramatic, but for me it's easy to overlook that when I consider how she'd do pretty much anything for me and how she really does care about things that matter, like being a better christian and being a hard worker. It's people like that that remind me that everyone has flaws, but if you really care about people, you understand that it's more important to consider how people show you that they care instead of just saying it.
Lindsay-
My closest friend on this planet. She can finish my sentences... but she generally lets me ramble on for hours and hours instead. She's one of the least selfish people I know. She cares about others so much... I just love her. She's like an extention of me... but a really, really good one.
She's an insanely hard-worker and she really cares about God and others and that's what makes me think she's just.. swell.
I think she'll make a really good chef some day... its just unfortuante that she'll be in Cali chefing and not wherever i'll be... tear.
She's like... the sister I always wished I had. But, its cool cause my family wishes they could adopt her anyway :)
Marissa-
I love Marissa! I wish she was still here this year. She's one of those awesome friends who like Chris, always makes you feel good about yourself even if you really haven't done anything awesome. Which in turn reminds you of what a great friend they are that they notice good things about you and remind you of that when you are blue.
I'm not sure what Marissa will do in life, but whatever it is... it will be awesome and her personality will shine, cause she's just one of those shining stars :)

My Wonder Twin! Scott is my other favorite should-be-a-girl guy friend. He's the type that you can go on lond trips with and have a conversation the whole time! Or have a whole cd just for your trip. He's awesome. He's the guy version of me to a certain extent. He's also a hard worker and he is one of the few people that no matter how much time goes by without us talking, he'll just randomly call me so that we both know everything is cool. What a good kid...
Scott will prolly be that elder that you don't really know what he does for a living or what his aspirations are... you just know he's a cool guy and you like him.
PS: if you read this, tell me your address, I have a present for you and i'd like to send you a package. Plus, I'm super sorry that we couldn't get together when you were here. :(
